As a fast-growing provider of strategic branding and marketing services for private equity and investment banking firms, MiddleM is working with some of the leading firms in the middle market. We are seeking to hire a Senior Client Services Associate to be part of our dynamic team, providing our clients creative solutions that offer real results.  

Areas of Responsibilities

Lead project management tasks and the organization of various deliverables on behalf of multiple clients:

  • Interface with our graphic designers to provide imagery necessary for their marketing initiatives

  • Assist with the writing of articles, blog posts and whitepapers

  • Work with developers to design and help manage client websites

  • Manage social media channels

  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations and other marketing collateral

  • Provide business development support through CRM and marketing automation platforms

  • Track effectiveness of campaigns through proprietary tools and data

Develop new concepts and initiatives for clients

Assist with PR mandates and media outreach

Manage and update the MiddleM website, social media pages and other aspects of marketing and branding

Support MiddleM’s business overall through other assigned responsibilities

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 2+ years of marketing, branding and social media experience with demonstrable project management skills

  • Private equity or investment banking experience a plus

  • Skills in Microsoft office applications, with strong PowerPoint know-how

  • Willingness to learn and embrace new forms of technology like CRMs and marketing automation platforms

  • Solid writing, editing and communication skills

  • Professionalism and a confident, consultative approach to client-facing interactions

  • Strong analytical, creative and strategic thinking skills

  • Growth mindset and desire to learn; hunger to proactively develop innovative new strategies and tactics

  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced and ever-changing environment with the willingness to be flexible

Compensation + Benefits

  • Salary range commensurate with experience: $65k - $95k

  • Flexible schedule and ability to work remotely

Vice President of Client Services

As a fast-growing provider of strategic branding and marketing services for private equity and investment banking firms, MiddleM is working with some of the leading firms in the middle market. We are seeking to hire a Vice President of Client Services to be part of our dynamic team, providing our clients creative solutions that offer real results. A marketing professional who will not only execute in the trenches, but also provide strategic leadership within our firm.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Take ownership and be the primary contact for a portfolio of client engagements; understand the firms’ strategic direction, business model and goals to create and align their marketing, PR and business development strategies

  • Work hand-in-hand with our investment banking and private equity clients on developing a brand strategy that effectively portrays their key areas of differentiation, goals and culture through a series of initiatives:

    • Brand Research: Lead brand research projects where the results and discussions thereafter will define the client’s new brand strategy

    • Brand Positioning & Design: Develop key positioning statements and messaging based on that research to help differentiate clients in the market; work with our graphic designers to bring brands to life through the presentation of a series of brand design ideas

    • Brand Strategy: Construct a marketing and digital strategy that will meet clients’ goals and objectives through various initiatives including PR, social media, editorial/thought leadership, business development strategies, automated email marketing campaigns, conference research, LinkedIn ads and other general marketing services

    • Implementation: Manage the production of all design assets across all outward facing touchpoints such as clients’ websites, social media platforms, marketing collateral, business cards and other items

  • Develop client-specific PR strategies, identifying key media relationships to develop on clients’ behalves, and work to orchestrate a mutually beneficial rapport for future stories and speaking opportunities: work closely with clients to create transactional-related communications plans, including drafting press releases, key messaging, Q&A, email outreach and social media lead-ins

  • Project manage assignments for multiple clients efficiently and effectively, ensuring quality of work and timely delivery of assignments

  • Assist with building MiddleM’s book of client relationships with proactive business development outreach, participating in client pitches and negotiating client engagement terms

  • Engage with MiddleM Creative’s senior leadership on the strategic direction of the firm, offering suggestions on new client segments to research, new services to offer, ideas on how best to service our clients, etc.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 7 - 10+ years of marketing, branding and social media experience with demonstrable project management skills

  • Knowledge of private equity and/or investment banking a plus

  • Proven experience leading and managing complex projects

  • Skills in Microsoft office applications, with strong PowerPoint know-how

  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce and DealCloud specifically) and marketing automation platforms a plus

  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills

  • Professionalism and a confident, consultative approach to client-facing interactions

  • Strong analytical, creative and strategic thinking skills

  • Growth mindset and desire to learn; hunger to proactively develop innovative new strategies and tactics

  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced and ever-changing environment with the willingness to be flexible

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range commensurate with experience: $100K - $125k with bonus potential
